How it works

triggers off the natural process of degradation and ensures that it takes place more quickly & efficiently by improving the micro-environmentMinute holes are created in the rigid structure of the waste material. These allow more entry points for the bacteria responsible for the degradation of the material. The cellulose and glucose content of the waste provides an abundance of food for the bacteria which multiply rapidly (using nitrogen in the process) and quickly consume the food.
When the food source is exhausted the bacteria die releasing the energy & nutrients back into the compost or soil in a form which is readily available to growing plants.
